The Cutest Four-Legged Friends At Alma Park Zoo

Which of these little fellas from the Alma Park Zoo Brisbane would you vote for to take the title of the cutest Australian native animals?

Do Not Disturb

What’s up, dude?

Hello there, pretty!

The curious kangaroo

Goats playing the Chinese Whispers

Everyone needs a bit of koalaty time

Give me five, would ya?

One of top contestants who’d rival the popularity of the clingy koalas and whispering goats would be those baby echidnas. Sadly, those little spiny cuties were sleeping tight and sound in their nursery so I couldn’t show you how lovable they looked, in the meanwhile check out Tracy and Colin’s post on their close encounter with the echidnas, emus and more at the Hunter Valley Zoo!

  1. What a gorgeus many sleepy little creatures. My favorite is the owl…too cute 🙂

    1. Haha yes a few of these little fellas seem to know how to enjoy life with an afternoon nap, what a life! Thanks for dropping by 🙂

  2. Oh so cute.

    1. They’re doll-like aren’t they! Hope they brought you some smile! Thanks for stopping by Susan.

  3. Hard to choose, but I’m going with the koala…they’re having a hard time right now!

    1. Great choice Robin! I didn’t realize those little guys actually have two thumbs until I took that picture! Definitely wanna cuddle one 🙂

  4. Voting for the last one.

    1. Wow awesome! The cuddly koala’s asked me to say thanks for the vote and thanks for checking out his photos! 😛 Just a shame that I couldn’t spot any who aren’t sleeping and hiding their face, it’s a rare find I suppose!

  5. Oh my gosh, the little red pandas!! I just want to cuddle up with one 🙂

    1. They’re all so cuddly aren’t they? I kind of wish that my life is like a little red panda! Looking so laid back and super cool.

  6. I dont like the toad >< scares me =P

    1. Yes dear I remember that you said you dislike any moving and living creatures apart from human being.. especially those hairy ones lol! Lucky that your man sort of fell outside that category? Keke 😛

Btw lilywongblogdotcom! How exciting!! Welcome to the blogosphere 🙂

    2. Those are actually green tree frogs. Different species. Their skin kinda feels like the screen on a touch phone. smooth and cool.

  7. er, 2 thumbs up for the Koalas

    1. Haha! The little dude just said “cheers mate for the thumbs up” :p Hope he brought u some smile!

      1. Sure did! Cheers!

  8. So cute!! I went there with my 3 year old twins (boy and girl), and my daughter Zoe managed to feed a joey kangaroo which was sitting in its mum’s poach and poking the little head out to eat from Zoe’s hand.

    1. I can imagine your little angel Zoe would be super excited! Have they become her favorite animals since their last encounter? 🙂
