Carnival In Monochrome: Ekka Through The Lens of ThatStreetGuy

In my previous post I mentioned that my photographer friend Daniel, who’s a blogger behind ThatStreetGuy, has opened my eyes to the world of black and white images.

It’s quite obvious that I’m a colour lovers, I’m naturally attracted to shades of bright, pastel or florescent colours, and I’m always experimenting through my fashion style the chemistry of various shades blending together. The night when I was going through Daniel’s edit of my photo diary wandering through the Ekka show, these black and white shots blew my mind away…

These vibrant shades of grey connote something nostalgic, something retro, which set an interesting mood against the carnival happenings in the background.

So tell me Dear Reader, which shots do you like best? Would you pick the ones in this post with vivid pop of colours, or do you find carnival in monochrome fascinating?
